Scaled-down version of single-action. Chambered for.22 rimfire. Has 4' barrel and unfluted roll engraved cylinder. Frame is alloy and has a brass colored anodized alloy trigger guard. Finish is blue and grips are plastic impregnated wood until 1963, thereafter, walnut. This revolver, also known as Model 117, chambered for .357 Magnum cartridge. Has 2.75', 4' or 6' barrel. Features adjustable sights, with blue or stainless finish and a square butt, with checkered walnut grips. Manufactured between 1970 and 1985. Early guns with fixed sights and square butt were also marked 'Security-Six'. Later termed 'Service-Six' and so marked. Prices listed only for adjustable sight and square butt 'Security-Six' models. NOTE: Fixed sight guns marked 'Security-Six' and round butt 'Security-Sixes', with adjustable sights are worth a premium.
